Delete your Peekadoor account
Peekadoor, a game by Eren Yamic for iPhone and Android
Playing alone never makes an account. If you have played online, you have a small account: a key on your phone and your player name, with no e-mail or password. You can delete it at any time.
In the game (fastest)
- Open Peekadoor and tap Settings (the gear on the title screen).
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete my account, then confirm.
The account is deleted at once, with everything listed below, and your phone forgets its key. (You can also get there from Play Together → Your records → Account.)
Without the game
If you no longer have the game or the phone, e-mail hello@erenyamic.com with the subject Delete my Peekadoor account. Include your player name with its number, as the game showed it (for example Mia #4821), and roughly when you last played. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done. Because accounts have no e-mail or password, we may ask about your recent nights to make sure the account is yours.
If you deleted the game, nobody can use the account any more, because its key was on that phone. It is also deleted automatically after 12 months without use, unless points were bought with it.
What is deleted
- the account, its key and your player name;
- the records of your nights, your totals and your points, including this week's;
- your friends, friend requests and calls into groups;
- the players you blocked, and any code for moving to a new phone;
- your bought points, the record of your purchases, and what your bought points paid for. They cannot be brought back afterwards. Apple or Google keep their own record of the payment, and refunds are up to them.
What stays
- The nights you played stay in the other players' records, without your name or anything that points to you.
- Reports you made stay for up to 12 months, without your name, so that they can still be acted on.
